Caucus Election

The Libertarian Party of Tangipahoa Parish will hold a Caucus to elect Parish Executive Committee members and a Parish Representative to serve on the State Central Committee for the new 2016 cycle. The Caucus will be held on Thursday,  February 4, 2016, at Roux and Brew Restaurant at 135 SW Railroad Avenue in Ponchatoula.

The Parish Executive Committee meets once a month and works at the local level to implement libertarian principles in government and get Libertarians elected to serve in office. The Committee will host outreach events to grow voter registration and provide information about the Libertarian Party, recruit and campaign for local candidates, as well as lobby to support libertarian issues at the State Legislature in Baton Rouge and address local issues at the parish level.
