Caucus Election

The Libertarian Party of Plaquemines Parish will hold a Caucus to elect Parish Executive Committee members and a Parish Representative to serve on the State Central Committee for the new 2016 cycle. The Caucus will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at Lil G's Kajun Restaurant at 9338 Louisiana Highway 23 in Belle Chasse.

The Parish Executive Committee meets once a month and works at the local level to implement libertarian principles in government and get Libertarians elected to serve in office. The Committee will host outreach events to grow voter registration and provide information about the Libertarian Party, recruit and campaign for local candidates, as well as lobby to support libertarian issues at the State Legislature in Baton Rouge and address local issues at the parish level. We also support our campus organizations, the College Libertarians at Loyola University and the College Libertarians at UNO.
